What we store
Oopsie.Talk stores only two things: the moments (posts) you share and the reactions other people leave on those moments. That is it. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any other personal information.
How your posts are linked to you
When you post a moment, we generate a random device ID and save it in your browser's local storage. This ID is what lets us show you the list of moments you have shared on the Mine page. We never associate this ID with any real-world identity.
Losing access to your posts
Because your list of posts is tied to the device ID stored locally on your device, there is no way to recover it if you lose access to that device or clear your browser's cache. Your moments will still exist on the site for others to discover, but you will no longer be able to see them grouped under your Mine page.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. The only local data we store is the anonymous device ID mentioned above and your preference settings (such as whether Sensitive Topics mode is enabled).
Third parties
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. Moments are anonymous by design and we intend to keep it that way.
